Good Health Sauna Reviews - Worth the Price?

Good Health Saunas has been in business for over 20 years, providing a wide variety of infrared saunas backed by independent testing as well as stellar customer service.

They currently offer full spectrum saunas only, in sizes from 1-4 person, with a 3 person corner option as well.

Let's get into our reviews to see what these saunas are all about...

Good Health Saunas - Corner

A Look at the Current Saunas

Good Health Saunas has two series to choose from: the Signature Series & the more advanced Hybrid Series. Both feature full spectrum heat, as opposed to many saunas on the market that are far infrared only. However, the heating experience is different between the two series, as are the available features.

Signature Series

This is their original lineup of saunas, and you have 6 different models to choose from: 1 person, 2 person 15 amp, 2 person 20 amp, 3 person, 3 person corner or 4 person.

All of the Signature Series saunas feature full spectrum heat, meaning near, mid and far infrared together, carbon & ceramic heating units, certified Canadian wood, oxygen ionizers, interior/exterior lighting, sound systems and chromotherapy.

You can choose from Hemlock for a lighter sauna or Red Cedar for a darker sauna.

Hybrid Series

This is their more advanced series, with only four models to choose from:  2 person, 3 person, 3 person corner & 4 person.

The main difference between the Hybrid & Signature Series saunas is the heating system. This series uses what they call HybridHeat +, with three different zones.

The majority of the panels (back, sides & floor) feature Carbon Heating for the deepest penetration. You also have Graphene heating behind your calves. Then there's an alloy heating element in front of the bench. The latter two produced mid-infrared heat for recovery and circulation.

The Hybrid Series only comes in hemlock, and also features more ergonomic benches and headrests, upgraded chromotherapy & more advanced controls.

So in summary both of the series provide full spectrum heating, you just get a more advanced heating system with the Hybrid system as well as upgraded interiors and controls.

Good Health Saunas Pros

One of the most important highlights of Good Health Saunas is definitely the third party testing. Many sauna companies on the market do not test their units, probably due to the fact that the results would not be very positive.

On the Good Health Saunas site the certifications are part of the main navigation and you can choose from the different reports that you are interested in.

One of the main concerns people have are about EMF levels, as high exposure can lead to various health issues. So you want your sauna to have the lowest levels possible. GHS saunas have been tested by Vitatach Electromagnetics, one of the leading third party testers, and their saunas have been shown to have low EMF levels.

There is also an IAQ Diagnostics test of air quality, an FSC report on wood quality and an emissivity report from Microvision Laboratories.

So they have had everything from the heating elements to the wood to the surrounding air tested, which is a very good sign.

They also offer 360 degree heating, so you have panels all around you as opposed to just behind or just on the sides like some infrared saunas have.

There's also a lifetime warranty & great customer service, two things you rarely find in the sauna industry.

Lastly, Good Health Saunas has an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, which is better than most sauna companies out there.

Good Health Saunas Cons

There aren't too many cons that we have come across thus far, but some things that may be less than ideal.

You do have to reach out to the company to get pricing; it's not listed on the website. This is not really an issue, but some people like to see prices when they're shopping online.

Delivery can sometimes take a couple of months, but this is the case across the industry, especially during the busy season.

The Hybrid Series only comes in hemlock, so if you're looking for a darker sauna you'll have to go with the Signature Series which is not as advanced.

Is Good Health a Good Choice?

If you're looking for an infrared sauna for your home, Good Health Saunas is definitely worth considering.

They have a number of different sizes to choose from, and we like the fact that all of the components are independently tested for safety. All of the saunas have low EMF, certified woods, high air quality and low emissivity.

We also like the fact that they have stellar customer service, evidenced by their high BBB ratings.
